Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Screenshotidy, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
2. License
Screenshotidy grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the desktop application on devices you own. The Pro purchase grants access to the purchased desktop app features for the version included at purchase. Future AI cloud subscriptions or add-ons may be offered separately.
3. Free Tier
The free tier allows up to 50 screenshots with local OCR and search functionality. No payment or account is required for the free tier.
4. Payments
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. The Pro desktop purchase is a one-time payment. Future AI cloud subscriptions and AI credit packs may be offered separately.
5. Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund policy for the Pro desktop purchase. If Screenshotidy doesn't work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Future subscription refunds follow Stripe's standard policies. AI credit packs are non-refundable once used.
6. Your Content
You retain full ownership of your screenshots, OCR data, tags, notes, and all content you create or import into Screenshotidy. We do not claim any rights to your content.
7. AI Processing
When you use cloud AI features, your screenshots may be sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) for processing. We do not retain copies of screenshots sent for AI analysis beyond the processing session. You are responsible for ensuring your screenshots do not violate the AI provider's usage policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
Screenshotidy is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or issues arising from the use of the software. Always maintain backups of important files.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Screenshotidy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
